Croatian institutions will be financed through the Fund for Youth Employment
Following the public call on submission of project ideas that was launched in April 2017, the €60,6 million has been available now within EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The aim of Fund is to support sustainable and quality youth employment in Europe. Out of the more than 300 project ideas submitted, 27 projects with partners from 25 countries in Europe have now been selected to receive funding.

Through this Call, seven Croatian institutions were selected as the lead Partner or as the beneficiary partner in order to reduce youth unemployment in Europe.
Thus, for example, Initiative for Sustainable Growth was selected as lead partner on the project “Network for Youth Employment to increase energy sustainability in islands“. A total value of project is 2,863,024.00 euros and the planned duration of the project is 40 months.
Following Croatian institutions have been selected as the beneficiary partners: The International Centre for Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES Centre), Cluster for Eco-Social Innovation and Development, Youth Initiative for Human Rights, NGO ECHO and Local development agency of the city of Velika Gorica – VE-GO-RA.
