The new Memorandums of Understanding on the EEA and Norway Grants for the period 2014-2021 were signed
In the presence of the Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenković and Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Memorandum of understanding on the implementation of Norwegian financial mechanism 2014- 2021 and Memorandum of understanding on the implementation of European Economic Area 2014-2021 were signed in Zagreb on 3th of July 2018.

On behalf of the Republic of Croatia, Minister of regional development and EU funds, Gabriela Žalac signed the Agreements while on behalf of donor countries, Norway ambassador in Croatia, Astrid Versto signed the Agreements.
Under the signed Agreements (MoUs), the three donor countries Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein have allocated €103.4 million to Republic of Croatia in the following sectors: entrepreneurship, energy, civil society, judicial cooperation, social dialogue, local development and poverty reduction
Out of total funds, €56.8 million has been allocated by the EEA Grants while contribution of the Norway Grants is €46.6 million.
