06 Jul The Funding Decision within the Call “Strengthening skills in primary schools and development of regional science centres for STEM education in primary schools”, Component A: „Development of STEM skills through equipping school classrooms with STEM equipment“ adopted

The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the Programme Operator of the “Local Development and Poverty Reduction Programme”, following the award procedure within the Call for Proposals “Strengthening skills in primary schools and development of regional science centres for STEM education in primary schools ”, Component A: „ Development of STEM skills through equipping school classrooms with STEM equipment “ on June 30^th  2022 has adopted two Funding Decisions of total value HRK 68.293.712,89 supported by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA).

This Decision will support the implementation of fifteen (15) projects that will provide support for strengthening the capacity of primary school education institutions in the Republic of Croatia in STEM teaching by modernizing premises and acquiring STEM equipment for schools. All projects contribute to strengthening the capacity of primary education institutions in the Republic of Croatia in STEM teaching with the goal of improving the STEM skills of teachers and other educational workers and rising the STEM skills of students.
