In April 2014, Croatia has become a member of the European Economic Area as the 16th EU Member State which was given the opportunity to benefit from two financial mechanisms: EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the 2009 \u2013 2014 period worth EUR 9,6 million.<\/h4>\n

EEA Financial Mechanism for the period 2009-2014 provided EUR 4,6 million and was divided between following programme areas:<\/h4>\n

As part of the Norway and EEA Grants operated a separate Bilateral Fund with allocation of EUR 515,625.00 for Croatia in the period 2009-2014.<\/p>\n
