International Conference \u201eEnergy and Climate Challenges of the Republic of Croatia \u201c, Dubrovnik, 13 \u2013 14 April 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International Conference \u201cEnergy and Climate Challenges of the Republic of Croatia\u201d will be held from <strong>13 until 14 April 2023. <\/strong>However, instead of the initially announced Zadar, the <strong>venue will ultimately be in Dubrovnik, Hotel Kompas<\/strong>, Ul. Kardinala Stepinca 21, 20000 Dubrovnik<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The opening of the Conference will be attended by high officials of the Republic of Croatia, Kingdom of Norway and Iceland, whereas the event shall encompass the relevant political and operational level with an emphasis on the Energy and Climate Change Programme, i.e. the general field of energy and renewable energy sources. Furthermore, the focus would be put on the current state of play and implemented programme activities, as well as the perspective of the Programme which is to be in the future implemented in the Republic of Croatia through the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants).<\/p>\n<p>During the Conference, the focus will be on reducing CO<sup>2<\/sup> emissions\/decarbonization and it would be discussed by key speakers, representatives of energy institutions from the Republic of Croatia, Kingdom of Norway and Iceland, as well as official representatives of Croatia`s cities and counties in the role of Project Promoters to which grants were eventually awarded and are actively working on projects implementation within the Energy and Climate Change Programme.
