Summary<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Since there was a market prices increase compared to the prices at the time of application of projects to the Calls for Proposals “Production of energy from the sea” and “Increased geothermal energy production capacity”, the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds announces this Restricted Call. The aim of the Restricted Call is the grant award to already contracted projects within the Calls for Proposals \u201cEnergy production from the sea\u201d and \u201cIncreased geothermal energy production capacity\u201c in order to achieve the expected results and indicators of the Programme.<\/p>\n

The Restricted Call is announced in accordance with Article 7.4.8. of the Regulation on the implementation of the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the flexible measures of the Financial Mechanism Office, and for the purpose of addressing the current situation of exceptional increase in market prices that cause specific challenges especially for certain projects with significant infrastructure components and in order to achieve the planned results of the projects and thereby to achieve the expected results and indicators of the Programme.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator type=”small” position=”center” color=”#003096″ thickness=”5″ up=”20″ down=”20″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

THE FUNDING DECISION OF ADDITIONAL GRANT REQUESTS<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””]The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, in the role of the Programme Operator, \u00a0upon the completion of Additional Grant Requests selection within the Restricted Call for additional funding of projects within the Calls for Proposals \u201cEnergy production from the sea\u201d and \u201cIncreased geothermal energy production capacity\u201c, a total value of 693.100,20 EUR, on 6th<\/sup> October 2023<\/strong> adopted the Funding Decision of Additional Grant Requests. Following the Funding Decision of Additional Grant Requests, the Contract Addendum will be concluded with the selected Project Promoters.<\/p>\n
