13 Feb Award Decision on the funding of the bilateral initiatives within the Call „Strengthening bilateral cooperation between Croatia and Norway in Green transition“
On 3rd February 2023 Joint Committee for Bilateral Funds consisting from representatives of donor countries, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, has adopted award decision on the funding of 13 bilateral initiatives within the Call „Strengthening bilateral cooperation between Croatia and Norway in Green transition“. The total value of the proposed project initiatives is 1,228,065.48 euros.
Due to the large number of quality applications, the initially planned allocation of the Call of 500,000 euros was increased to 1.23 million euros by a joint decision of the Committee. The process of budget clearing of the project proposals selected for financing is underway, after which the beneficiaries will sign Grant Agreements with the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, in its role of National Focal Point for the EEA Financial Mechanism and Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
The Call is financed by funds from the Bilateral Cooperation Fund, which is financed from the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, aiming to support bilateral initiatives in the area of green transition of public bodies and institutions as well as non-governmental organizations from the Republic of Croatia and the Kingdom of Norway, and related to the areas : Energy and climate change, blue growth and green maritime and sustainable aquaculture.
