A new online campaign launched by the EEA and Norway Grants to spotlight its funding efforts for projects on the environment, climate change, clean energy and green industry.
The # EEAch drop counts campaign invites partners from 15 EU beneficiary countries to present the outcomes of their successful green projects to other project teams, EU institutions and the broader public. The campaign slogan EEAch Drop Counts for a Greener Europe highlights the idea that every action, either small community initiatives or large international project can create greener Europe.
Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway have provided € 3.3 billion through consecutive grant schemes between 1994 and 2014 to fund programs and initiatives that tackle some of the major European challenges. That’s why the EEA and Norway Grants have funded over 1000 projects in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics to protect the environment and combat climate change.
