28 May Matchmaking event was held
A virtual Matchmaking event, for Local Development and Poverty Reduction Programme, was held on 26th May 2021, from 11:00 to 14:00, for the purpose of connecting potential applicants — organisations from the Republic of Croatia and potential partner organisations from donor countries — Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. The objective of the Matchmaking event was to connect organisations and create project partnerships in grant applications to open calls for proposals.
Alongside the representatives of the Programme Operator — the Ministry of Regional Development and the Funds of the European Union, and the partners — DIKU — Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in the Republic of Croatia, and of the Financial Mechanism Office, 120 interested participants from Croatia, Norway and Iceland participated.
Following the presentations of the project ideas, the floor was open for discussion, exchange of ideas and networking, as well as creating pathways for future cooperation.
Please note that the partnership, especially with organisations from Donor States, is highly encouraged and grants additional points in project evaluation and selection for funding. Since we have heard quite a few excellent project ideas, such partnership could give a project an edge and separate it from other project ideas.
