The implementation of the Energy and Climate Change programme worth 20 million euros has been starting

On 21 December, the Program Agreement for the Energy and Climate Change programme within the EEA financial mechanism for the period 2014-2021 was signed by Ms Nataša Tramišak.

The program includes 2 areas of support:
Improving energy efficiency and
Increasing the use of renewable energy sources

The Programme will be implemented through one predefined project and 4 open calls and 2 small grants (grant schemes).
On behalf of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the Directorate for Regional Development, Coordination, Control of European Territorial Cooperation Programs, the Sector for Coordination of European Territorial Cooperation Programs and Macro-Regional Strategies and the Hrvoje Požar Energy Institute are managing the Program, while the donor partner in the Program is the Norwegian Water and Energy Directorate.

The first Call within the Programme will be launched in the first half of 2021.
